Not only do we strive for the freshest organic ingredients, we ensure that our suppliers have the right organic certification to provide the necessary quality and freshness. There are several certifying bodies which uphold the guarantee of the organic produce that you buy and which we serve at The Organic Café. BFA, NASAA and DEMETER are just a few that certify the produce we supply. For a farm to become certified organic is a lengthy process. It may take years to rid soil and land from harmful chemicals and pesticides and return the level of nutrients to produce healthy crops.

Organic certification is a complete concept encompassing a strong ethical conduct including sustainable agriculture, irrigation, pest control and strict free range livestock standards. Once certified, it is a continuous process to maintain and is regularly monitored by the certifying body.

Certification is assurance. The Organic Café aims to serve 95-100% Certified Produce* in each dish.
